Our recommendation
Why we recommend Krizel.
Recommended for a founder who wants one person on the inbox, the books and the team. Three and a half years at Amazon on the Philippines logistics launch, managing up to 30 associates, taking managerial and executive escalations, authoring training materials as a subject matter expert and running process improvement as a KAIZEN-certified lead.
Since then she has worked directly for directors and CEOs: departmental inbox management, invoicing and AP and AR in Xero, client mediation by phone, chat and email, WordPress sites, content editing and social media. She holds qualifications in both accountancy and business administration. Strong fit for a founder-led business, an e-commerce or logistics operator, or any client who currently needs three people and would rather hire one.

The assessment
English and writing
She says she grew up in the United States, which shows in the work rather than only the claim. At Amazon she was the subject matter expert who authored training materials for several lines of business, which means writing documents other employees were taught from and assessed against. She was also the Resolution Specialist for new hire classes and handled managerial and executive escalation contacts, the calls a company routes to its most articulate people. At ePerformax she ran Tier 2 international accounts by chat and email and averaged a 95% customer satisfaction rating. Since then she has managed director and CEO inboxes across multiple departments.
Remote readiness
Her last three years have been fully remote to overseas clients, including an Australian company where she worked directly under the directors and a second where she sat alongside the CEO across customer service, tech, finance and social media. Before that, four years inside Amazon means she is used to KPIs, calibration sessions and performance monitoring as normal working conditions rather than something imposed on her. Her toolkit is wide and genuinely used: Xero for invoicing and accounts, Zendesk, Helpscout, Zoho, Close, Django CRM and E-Desk for support, WordPress for sites, ActiveCampaign and Jotform, plus Canva, Photoshop, DaVinci and Audacity for content.
Cultural fit
She has been trusted with other people repeatedly. Amazon put her on the pioneer team for its Philippines logistics launch, gave her up to 30 associates, then had her hire, train and develop fellow managers and run the calibration and process improvement meetings. That is a company choosing someone to set the standard, not just meet it. At LJ Lifestyle she co-managed other virtual assistants and ran their meetings. She carries six professional references on her CV with live contact details, two of them Amazon managers, which is more than anyone else on the roster offers and suggests she parted well with the people she worked for.
